Biography

2006-2007 - Second team all-USA South in cross country. Placed fifth in the conference championship meet in 28:34.9. Placed third at the Mason-Dixon Conference Indoor Championships in the 5000 with a time of 16:11.00, his PR. Also set a PR outdoors in the steeplechase at the CNU Blue & Silver Challenge with a clocking of 10:01.60.

 

2005-2006 - Earned a sixth place finish at the Mason-Dixon Conference outdoor championships at 10,000 meters with a time of 36:01.21. He was also tenth at 5,000 meters in 16:54.67. In cross country he was USA South Rookie of the Year. A first team All-USA South choice. Placed seventh at the conference championships with a time of 27:58.

 

At Gloucester: Ran cross country and indoor track for three years and competed in outdoor track all four years all under head coach Heidi Overbay. Helped Gloucester to district championship titles in both his junior and senior seasons. Personally was 1st team all district cross country in both of those seasons and an All-Region Honorable Mention in all three of his sports.

 

Personal: David Michael Woodson was born March 17, 1987 in Honolulu, HI. and is a biology major. He is the son of Rickie and Adell Woodson and has a brother Christopher, 22, and two sisters Andrea, 25, and Melissa, 23.
