2008 Freshman Season - Second team all-USA South in his first
season at CNU...Placed ninth in the conference championship
with a time of 28:38...Took 29th place at the season-opening Marlin
Invitational in 29:43.

At Atlee - Ran four years for coach Jim Triemplar...Academic
all-region as a senior...The Raiders finished 13th in the state in his
junior year...In track and field he was a member of the schoolrecord
setting 4X1600 and 4Xmile relays...Earned an I.B. Diploma and was an Eagle Scout.

Personal - William Franklin Kirk was born Nov. 24, 1989 in Richmond, Va...He is majoring in Business. The son of Bess and Jack Kirk...Has a brother Kennon, 29 and a sister Susan, 33.
