NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- Christopher Newport University freshman center Camry Green hauled in her second USA South Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honor today, both coming in the last three weeks. Green led the Captains to a 2-1 week in conference play, posting double-doubles in all three games.

Green, a Richmond, Va. native, averaged 13.3 points, 12.7 rebounds and one block per game last week, including a career-high 17-point performance at Ferrum College. In limited minutes against N.C. Wesleyan and Meredith Colleges, Green totaled 13 points, 13 rebounds and 10 points, 13 rebounds, respectively.

She added three blocked shots this week with two assists. The rookie was 10-of-12 on free-throw attempts and hit for a 47% shooting percentage in the three games.
