SALISBURY, MD – Christohper Newport's women's cross country team finished seventh while the men's squad placed 10^th at the Don Cathcart Invitational hosted by Salisbury Saturday.

None of the Captains top runners competed this week in preparation for next week's Pre-National Meet.

On the women's side, Dira Hansen finished 27^th with a time of 23:57 to lead the way for CNU. Edie Nault was 35^th in 24:21, Stephanie Raddatz placed 40^th overall with a time of 24:37, Beth Bartelmes was 49^th with a mark of 24:59 and Kim Wenz was 74^th in 25:59 to round out the Captains top five finishers.

On the men's side, Will Kirk finished 59^th with a time of 28:43, Josh Bowling was 66^th in 28:57, Scott Teribury was 83^rd with a mark of 29:46, Will Zak placed 101^st with a time of 30:33 and Andrew Giordano finished 109^th in 31:14 rounding out the top five CNU finishers.

Christopher Newport returns to action next Saturday when they head to Hanover, IN for the Pre-National Meet.
