Women Finish Third, Men Place Fifth At Battle For the Buggy

LANCASTER, PA – Christopher Newport's women's cross country squad placed third while the men finished fifth at the Battle For The Buggy Saturday.

Dira Hansen finished 11^th overall with a time of 16:08 to lead the CNU women's squad. Megan Roberts was 13^th in 16:13, Stephanie Raddatz placed 22^nd with a time of 16:53, Brooke Rowe was 25^th in 16:57 and Beth Bartelmes was 46^th with a time of 17:38.

On the men's side, Nate Huffman led the Captains with a 16^th place finish in 21:27. Will Kirk was 38^th overall in 21:57 as Scott Teribury finished 41^st with a time of 22:09. Josh Bowling (22:40) and Will Zak (22:41) finished 57^th and 58^th respectively.

Christopher Newport returns to action Saturday when they travel to Greensboro, NC for the USA South Meet.
