For three years, the CNU Football Team featured one of the most dynamic running backs in the nation. Ogun's career was highlighted by one of the most sensational years by any athlete in CNU history, when he rushed for over 1,700 yards and scored 17 touchdowns in his junior year. A first team All-American for his performance that season, the 2008 USA South Offensive Player of the Year led the Captains to a program-record eight straight wins. With 267 carries and a 6.7 yards per carry average, Ogun wreaked havoc on opposing defenses to the tune of 179.4 rushing yards per game. He finished his impressive career with a program-record 3,425 yards in just three years. Along the way, he registered eight 100-yard rushing games while posting four of the top five single-game performances, including a 285-yard performance at Averett in his senior year. Ogun is the all-time leader in career touchdowns with 38, and is the only player in program history to rush for three TD's in a game five times in his career.
Only the second player in program history to earn first team All-American accolades from both D3football.com and the American Football Coaches Associatio (AFCA), Ogun was a first team All-Region selection as well as a two-time All-Conference pick.
