Tia Johnson of the Christopher Newport women's basketball program is still the second all-time leading rebounder with 1,039 career boards.
She graduated as the fourth all-time leading shot blocker, and still ranks sixth with 112 swats. Johnson ranks tenth all-time in steals, with 194, and is one of only two players in school history to eclipse 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She concluded her career with 1,129 points, which currently ranks 15th all-time, and was a two-time All-Conference selection.
Johnson helped guide CNU to three conference championships and the first appearance in the NCAA "Sweet 16" in program history.
