Roland Hilliard was one of two football players inducted in 2013. He was named honorable mention All-American by D3football.com and first team All-Region also by D3football.com.
Hilliard virtually re-wrote the CNU record book in his senior year, gaining 1,215 yards to break his own record, finishing his career as the all-time leading rusher with 3,149 yards. He also set marks for rushing TD's in a season (15) and career (28), and set new records for the most 100+ yard games in a season (7) and career (16). His scoring marks of 16 touchdowns in a season and 32 in his career also were record-breaking, and nearly all of these marks still rank second in CNU's history.
Hilliard was a three-time All-Conference selection including first team honors twice. He was selected the Offensive Player of the Year in the USA South in 2004. He is also CNU's all-time leader in all-purpose yards by a significant margin, with 4,477.
