The all-time leading scorer in women's lacrosse history, Harkey led the Captains to four straight conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances during her career. She set a mammoth standard for career assists while playing with fellow inductee, Kaitlin Quigley, on the offensive end, helping on 150 goals during her career. She also scored 196 goals of her own to set the program scoring record at 346 points, nearly 30 more than the second-ranked player on the list even five years later.

Harkey was a two-time IWLCA All-Region selection, picking up second team honors in her junior and senior seasons. She was also the USA South Rookie of the Year in 2008, and led the Captains in scoring in her final three seasons. During her senior season, Harkey set the program mark for assists in a single season, with 55, while adding 47 goals to register the single-season scoring record at 105 points. The Captains' attacker helped CNU build a foundation for success that saw the team win 13 games in each of her four years, including never losing a conference match.
