Kenny Moreland is one of the best pitchers in CNU program history, going 35-9 in his career with a 2.25 ERA.
He was named to D3baseball.com's All-Decade Team, and struck out 378 batters in 360 innings pitched during his career with the Captains. Moreland became CNU's first ever National Pitcher of the Year in 2008, his senior year (13-0, 1.97 ERA, 116 K in 109.2 IP). He was a first team All-American and is CNU's all-time leader in wins, innings pitched, strikeouts and ERA.
His uniform number 15 was retired, and he was signed to a minor league contract by the Baltimore Orioles following his illustrious career at CNU.
