Finally, wrapping up the induction class of 2011 is the Captains second ever football induction, as Justin Wood joins the Hall of Fame. Wood was CNU's second ever All-American, earning First Team honors as a senior.
He led Christopher Newport in tackles all four years of his career and remains the Captains all-time leader in stops, with 369. Named First Team All-Conference three times, he also earned First Team All-State and All-Region honors as a senior, after which he played in the Aztec Bowl.
Wood led the Captains to three conference titles and three NCAA appearances in four seasons.
