Christopher Newport University Athletics

Being rewarded for her meritorious service over the course of nearly three decades, Judy Stenzhorn becomes the first administrator to be inducted in the Hall of Fame since 2007 when her long-time friend and colleague C.J. Woollum was inducted. The longest tenured Christopher Newport athletics administrator served as the bedrock of the department in her role as administrative assistant for over 26 years. She worked tirelessly in numerous areas of athletic administration including compliance, scheduling and special events. 

With her commitment to maintaining relationships with alumni, faculty and staff, and corporate partners, Stenzhorn impacted the lives of countless individuals throughout her dedicated service. Stenzhorn assisted Christopher Newport coaches and staff and was always seen with a smile on her face. She also managed NCAA merchandise sales during postseason tournament events and served as the department's primary liaison for postseason tournament planning.
