The CNU baseball program was represented twice in 2012 as Chris Phaup and Jeremy Elliott joined the Hall of Fame. Phaup and Elliott led the Captains to back-to-back NCAA World Series appearances and were both All-Americans.

Elliott was a Captain from 2000-2003 and is the single-season record holder for stolen bases. He also ranks third all-time at CNU in career batting average.
