Jacque Mayer was the first CNU field hockey player to be named an All-American twice, earning second team honors as a junior and first team as a senior.
She was a three-time All-Region selection, including two first team honors. Mayer was picked to play in the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game. She helped guide CNU to its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, and subsequently, first postseason win. Mayer graduated as the all-time leader in defensive saves, and was the 2007 VaSID Player of the Year in the commonwealth.
