George Jones is one of the most dynamic offensive players in CNU Football history, serving time as both a running back and wide receiver during his tenure.
He burst onto the scene as the USA South Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2003, taking over as the team's leading receiver with five touchdown grabs and 680 yards. His sophomore year, Jones showed off his versatility, rushing for four touchdowns, catching six and even throwing for one score. He ranks third all-time in reception yards (1,830) and graduated as the all-time leader in receptions (132).
His 29 touchdowns responsible for ranked third all-time when he finished his career and still is sixth in CNU lore. Jones was a two-time first team All-Conference wide receiver and ranks fourth all-time in all-purpose yards (3,154).
