The 2011-12 Conference Player of the Year in the USA South Athletic Conference, Conley Taylor capped his career with a second team All-American selection in his senior season. He became just the 11th All-American in CNU Men's Basketball history after climbing the all-time scoring charts to fourth in program history. He finished his career with 1,821 total points in 107 games played while setting a new standard for free-throws made in a season (181) and career (511). His 17.0 points per game average ranks 7th in program lore and a 44-point outburst against Frostburg State in the 2010-11 season remains the second-highest points scored in a single game at CNU.
Not just a dangerous scoring threat, Taylor also ranks sixth all-time in career steals with 156. He knocked down 47.2% of his shots from the field and buried 73% of his free-throw attempts, a top-ten figure at CNU. A three-time All-Conference selection and two-time All-Region pick, Taylor was named the Conference and State Player of the Year following his senior campaign. He helped guide the Captains to a pair of conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances during his career.
