The CNU baseball program was represented twice in 2012 as Chris Phaup and Jeremy Elliott join the Hall of Fame. Phaup and Elliott led the Captains to back-to-back NCAA World Series appearances and were both All-Americans.
Phaup played at CNU in 2002 and 2003 and was a two-time All-Region, All-State and All-Conference selection. He was a member of the All-World Series Team and the all-time leader in slugging percentage, batting average and second in home runs in CNU baseball history.
