Antoinette Bass is the latest in a rich tradition of women's track and field Hall of Fame inductees as a member of the most decorated program at Christopher Newport University.
Bass captured the national championship in the 1992 Indoor 55m hurdles and finished her career as a 13-time All-American. She finished as national runner-up three times (1991 Outdoor 400 Relay, 1992 Indoor Triple Jump, 1992 Indoor 55m dash) and was a member of the school record Spring Medley Relay team. She currently still ranks fourth all-time in the Long Jump at CNU, and eighth in the Triple Jump.
A seven-time conference champion, Bass competed for three national championship teams.
