Abby Hogge is one of those two players, earning honorable mention All-American laurels as a freshman, third team honors twice, and a spot on the second team as a senior from the AVCA. She also earned a spot on a pair of NCAA Championship All-Tournament teams after helping CNU reach their first ever national championship match in 2011.
During her time patrolling the back row for the volleyball team, Hogge established herself as one of the finest liberos in NCAA history. She secured 2,515 digs, which still stands as the all-time conference record, and holds the top four single-season marks in program history. One of the most reliable athletes in the country, she appeared in 170 consecutive matches during her career, ranking as the seventh-longest streak in the history of collegiate volleyball. She was a driving force between the most successful run in CNU history as the Captains compiled a 152-18 record, including a perfect 77-0 ledger against league opponents.
