SAVANNAH, GA - The CNU men's golf team is currently in third place at the Coca-Cola Invitational after playing 36 holes on day one of the two day tournament.

CNU scored rounds of 303 and 302 during the first day of competition to finish 33 strokes behind tournament leader UT-Tyler and 2 strokes behind Lehigh who posted a 603.

Sophomore Joseph Evans led CNU's efforts with a first round 71 and a second round 73.  Ben Culotta, a sophomore from Jefferson Hills, PA, turned in a solid effort for the Captains after posting consistent rounds of 75 and 76.

CNU will return to action Saturday at Hunter Golf Club for the third and final round of the 10 team Coca-Cola Invitational.
