Shulman, Sison and Young still alive in Monarch Collegiate Invitational
Three CNU Players Stay Alive In Monarch Collegiate Invitational Back Draw

NORFOLK, VA - Three Christopher Newport players -- Eric Shulman and co-captains Lorenzo Sison and Dylan Young -- posted 2-1 records Saturday in singles at the Monarch Collegiate Invitational at Old Dominion, where CNU is the only Division III squad among the five teams competing.
All three are alive in the back-draw quarterfinals, with Sison and Young expected to play Sunday morning.
CNU won four of nine first-round matches against the Division I opposition. The Captains registered three victories in the back draw, all in close matches against players from Morgan State in Baltimore.
Captains newcomers Gian Heyer and Kyle Tobin were among the other match winners against other schools.
