Bell And Harper Earn All-America Status At NCAA Outdoor Championships

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Christopher Newport track & field athletes Isaac Bell and Leroy Harper were named All-American for their respective performances at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Bell finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 15.23 meters, a new personal best and the second best mark in school history. It’s his third All-American award, as he took home the same honor at the Indoor Championships in 2009 and the Outdoor Championships in 2008.
Harper placed fourth in the 200 in 21.40. It’s his fourth All-American award. He received All-American accolades in the 200 at the 2007 Outdoor Championships and in the 4x400 relay at the 2007 and 2008 Outdoor Championships.
