FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Christopher Newport men's tennis player Eric Shulman was named the USA South Rookie of the Year while he and two of his teammates were named All-Conference.

Shulman, a native of Glen Allen, VA, is ranked seventh in the Atlantic South in singles and is 14-5 on the year and 5-1 in USA South action at No. 1 singles. In doubles, he and teammate Dusty Nelson are ranked fifth in the region. Shulman has amassed a 15-4 record in doubles play and is 4-2 in conference action. He was also named First Team All-USA South.

Lorenzo Sison was named Second Team All-Conference. He is 9-8 in singles action and 4-2 in conference play, while seeing action at No. 2 and 3 singles. In doubles, Sison has team with several of his teammates and is 12-8 on the year.

Dusty Nelson was named Honorable Mention All-USA South. The sophomore is 8-10 in singles play, seeing action at No. 2, 3 and 4. In doubles, he's teamed with Shulman to go 13-4 at No. 1. For the year, Nelson is 14-4.

NC Wesleyan's Antii Saari was named the conference's Player of the Year while his coach, Dominic Modise, was named Coach of the Year.
