Women's Cross Country Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Christopher Newport’s women’s cross country squad was named a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s Women’s All-Academic Team.
In order for a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional meet. The must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.
As a team, the CNU squad has compiled a 3.41 GPA. The Captains captured the USA South Conference Tournament Championship, and placed fifth at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Meet.
