NEWPORT NEWS, VA - The Christopher Newport Men's Soccer team picked up a big win in Pennsylvania as they defeated York College 1-0.
The Captains Winston Mattheisen scored off a pass from Nao Masuda in the 15th minute to give the Captains a 1-0 lead and ultimately all they would need for the win. The goal is Mattheisen's 6th on the year.
With the win the Captains improve to 9-1 overall.
CNU will return to action on Wednesday when they host N.C. Wesleyan. That game will begin at 7pm.
