GREENSBORO, N.C, - The CNU golf team was in fourth place among 17 teams after the first day of the Tom O'Briant Memorial Golf Tournament Monday.

The Captains had a first round score of 312, trailing first place Methodist by 14 shots. CNU's Joseph Evans was tied for sixth place with a 74, two shots off the lead. Only the top ten individual scores were available.

The tournament concludes Tuesday.
