NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Christopher Newport’s Department of Athletics has announced the inception of the “Captains Kids Club.”

The goal of the club is to create a bond between the community, athletes and staff at CNU.

Members of the club receive a t-shirt, membership card, one free football ticket and two free basketball tickets. They will also receive a Kids Club Newsletter in the mail as well as birthday cards from Captain Chris.

A member also has the opportunity to be a ball girl/boy at sporting events, attend special “Meet the Team” dinners, get autographs, and meet CNU athletes and have their picture taken with Captain Chris.

To become a member, stop by the Ticket Office located in the Freeman Center to pick up a membership form, or print off a form and mail it to:

Along with your membership form, a joining fee of $20 will be needed to insure a one-year membership. For each additional child per family, the joining fee is $10.
