Kenny Moreland was placed on the Bluefield (WV) Orioles.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA – Former Christopher Newport pitcher Kenny Moreland was placed on the Bluefield Orioles.

Moreland signed a free agent contract with the Baltimore Orioles organization and after a weekend long mini-camp, the first year professional will pitch for the Bluefield Orioles, a member of the Appalachian League.

The league consists of teams in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, and is classified as an advanced rookie league.
